They are Canva frames. Drag a cover image onto one and it drops in cropped to fit, so a monthly wrap-up with nine books takes a minute rather than an evening of manual cropping.
Do covers stay readable at thumbnail size?
The frames are sized so the cover art survives the grid preview — which is the whole problem with posting a photo of a shelf. Titles are still legible before anyone taps in.
