Do I need a paid Canva account?

No. Every set is built with elements available on the free Canva plan. If you have Canva Pro, brand kit swapping is faster, but nothing is locked behind it.

How do I get the templates after paying?

Can I use these for client work?

The standard licence covers your own brand or one client brand per purchase. Buy an extra licence per additional client. You may not resell or redistribute the templates themselves.
