The all-in-one planner for one teacher and their classes. Attendance is one tap and the register is done; the gradebook works out the averages as you enter marks; homework and lessons sit against the week you are actually teaching. Is this the right tool?
For a class teacher who keeps registers, marks and behaviour notes and is tired of doing it across three places. The offline version matters more than it sounds: it is a single file that runs with no internet, no account and no data leaving the machine, which is what makes it usable on a filtered school network and answerable when the school asks where the children's data goes.
Your first week with it
Set the class up once — six questions, about two minutes — then use it for registers first and let the marks follow. Will it work on a school network that blocks websites?
Yes. The offline version is one file that opens in the browser, and it needs no internet at all — a filtered network has nothing to block, because nothing is being loaded.
Where is my children's data kept?
On your own computer. There is no account, no server and no sign-in, so the class list never leaves the machine you keep it on, which is the answer most schools need before anything is allowed in.
Does it do attendance and marks together?
Registers, marks and behaviour notes sit against the same child, so the report at the end of term is drawn from what you have already recorded rather than typed again.
Can I print something for parents' evening?
Reports come out per child, ready to print or hand over on screen, so the fifteen minutes are spent talking instead of hunting for the mark book.
Can I move a class between home and school?
Save a backup on one computer and open it on the other. Everything comes across: children, marks, registers and the chips you made yourself.
