Is this the right tool?
For somebody whose plant count has passed the point where memory works. The 676-plant library is what separates it from every empty watering table: you choose a species and its intervals, light, humidity, soil, feeding and pet safety come with it, summer and winter kept apart. If you own three pothos and water them on a Sunday, this is more sheet than you need.
Your first week with it
Add the plants you actually worry about first, with the date you last watered each one. Within a fortnight the status column is doing the thinking — you stop deciding whether a plant needs water and start reading whether it is due. The photo log looks like a nice extra until month six, when it is the only honest record of whether a plant is thriving or slowly declining.

Do I have to look up how often my plant needs water?
No — that is the difference. The library holds 676 houseplants with their own summer and winter watering intervals, light, humidity, soil and feeding. Pick the species and the numbers arrive with it.
How does it know when to water next?
You log the date you watered and the sheet works forward from that plant's interval: next date, days left and a status, so a plant that is overdue is visible without you counting.
Does it handle winter differently?
Yes. Each species carries a separate winter interval, which is where most plants are killed — the same schedule that works in July drowns a plant in January.
Can I keep photos of how a plant has grown?
Each plant has its own photo log, so a year of a monstera sits in one row rather than scattered through a camera roll.
Is it safe for a home with cats?
Pet safety is one of the fields on every species in the library, so it is visible before you buy the plant rather than after the vet bill.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. You pay once and it is yours. No subscription, no commission on your bookings, and new versions cost nothing.
Do I have to install anything?
